Amy's Story
Amy lived a life devoted to loving and helping others. As a loving wife, mom of 4 daughters and a Special Education Teacher for 40+ years, Amy lived and breathed love into all the lives she came in contact with. With a "our door is always open policy" no one was ever left out of the joys, laughter and adventures that brought excitement to Amy's life. From helping individuals in need, to donating her time to causes like The Sunshine Exchange of the Tonawanda, SABAH and Buffalo Pug Rescue, Amy truly lived to cherish every moment of every day and wanted those around her to do the same.
Love Like Amy Foundation strives to spread love and compassion to be a true light of goodness in the world.
Our Mission
Love Like Amy WNY wants to continue to spread the love and support that Amy freely gave by providing scholarships to WNY high school seniors pursuing a career in an education field. Amy gave many years of her life helping others find and reach their fullest potential, so Love Like Amy wants to support future educators to be able to do the same.
